Who We Are
More about Fountain of Love
Fountain Of Love is a registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO/ PBO Section 18A) committed to making a difference. Located in Katlehong, Gauteng, we operate various outreach programs, including an orphanage center, soup kitchen, and community support initiatives.
Fountain of Love provides full-time care for 56 children, aged 2 to 20, at our Orphanage Centre. Beyond the home, we support vulnerable community members through our soup kitchen and outreach in Katlehong (Emlotheni, Crossroad, Mandela, Tshongweni & Nhlapo), Zonkezizwe, and Thulasizwe—reaching over 1,000 orphans, child-headed households, the aged, and disabled each week with food, clothing, and care.

Projects you can support
Orphanage Care
We provide full-time shelter, nourishment, education support, and emotional care to 56 children, aged between 2 and 20 years. These children, many of whom have lost their parents or come from abusive or neglected backgrounds, live in a safe, loving environment where they are treated as family. Our aim is to support them not only until adulthood, but until they are well-established and self-reliant.
Soup Kitchen
Food is one of the most basic human needs — and one that many in our community go without. Our soup kitchen operates throughout the week, offering hot, nutritious meals to orphans, child-headed households, the elderly, and the disabled. We serve from what we receive in donations, sharing meals with gratitude and dignity.
Outreach Programs
At Fountain of Love, we believe in addressing the real, daily struggles of the vulnerable members of our community. Our outreach programs are rooted in love, dignity, and the belief that every person deserves care, nourishment, and hope.
School Lunch Box Program
Every school day, we prepare and distribute 100 lunch packs, each containing a sandwich and juice, to children who would otherwise go to class hungry. Many of these children are on medication such as ARVs and cannot take them without food. A simple meal in the morning makes a world of difference to their energy, concentration, and academic performance.
Support for the Aged and Disabled
Our elderly and disabled beneficiaries often live alone, with no support and limited mobility. Each month, we distribute over 150 food parcels directly to them. These parcels contain essential groceries to help them make it through the month. For many, this is their only reliable source of food and care.
Dignified Packs for Youth
Confidence can open doors — especially for young people preparing for interviews or searching for opportunities. Our Dignified Packs include basic toiletries like toothpaste, deodorant, soap, and sanitary items. This small act of care helps youth present themselves confidently while also reminding them that they are seen, valued, and supported.
